La Bohème tells the story of an impossible love in the romantic Paris of artists and ordinary people.
The year is 1830. A group of students (a painter, a musician, a poet and a philosopher) are struggling to get by, and fortunately the women are there to help them forget about the rent and the cold. First there is the beautiful, rich Musetta, who brightens up their daily lives.
Then there is a discreet woman who knocks at the door: Mimi, the neighbour who turns the opera upside down when she falls in love with Rodolfo, but can no longer hide a terrible secret. Puccini's most famous opera has not revealed all its secrets. Emmanuelle Bastet's poetically modern staging plunges us into a world made up of salvaging and muddling through.

La Bohème raconte un amour impossible dans le Paris romantique des artistes et des petites gens.
Nous sommes en 1830. Une bande d’étudiants (un artiste-peintre, un musicien, un poète, un philosophe) tirent le diable par la queue ; et heureusement que les femmes sont là pour oublier le loyer à payer, le froid qui les saisit… Il y a d’abord la belle et riche Musetta qui illumine leur quotidien.
Puis surtout une femme discrète qui toque à la porte : Mimi, la voisine qui fait chavirer l’opéra en tombant amoureuse de Rodolfo, sans plus longtemps pouvoir cacher un terrible secret. Le plus célèbre opéra de Puccini n’a pas livré tous ses secrets. La mise en scène d’Emmanuelle Bastet plonge avec une poétique modernité dans ce monde fait de récupération et de débrouille.

La Bohème cuenta la historia de un amor imposible en el París romántico de los artistas y la gente corriente.
Corre el año 1830. Un grupo de estudiantes (un pintor, un músico, un poeta y un filósofo) luchan por llegar a fin de mes y, afortunadamente, ahí están las mujeres para ayudarles a olvidar el alquiler que tienen que pagar y el frío que les atenaza... Primero está la bella y rica Musetta, que alegra su vida cotidiana, y luego llama a la puerta una mujer discreta: Mimì, la vecina que pone la ópera patas arriba cuando se enamora de Rodolfo, pero que ya no es capaz de ocultar un terrible secreto. La ópera más famosa de Puccini no ha revelado todos sus secretos. La puesta en escena de Emmanuelle Bastet, poéticamente moderna, nos sumerge en un mundo hecho de rescates y de dificultades.
