Sunday, April 5, (re)discover the conservation methods of yesteryear with free demonstrations and tastings for all ages!
On the agenda:
- Cheese tasting and explanations on its manufacture with Sébastien Vermeulen, vice-president of the French Cheese federation.
- Tasting/demonstration of lacto-fermented foods
- Tasting/demonstration of jams and fruit pastes
- Demonstration of salting, smoking and drying of meat
In the estaminet
Every 1th Sunday, a pianist animates the estaminet all afternoon playing tunes of variety on our piano of the 1880s. The association La Bergerie d'Antan sells drinks to warm up. The sale is for the benefit of the animals.
Waffle workshop
Every 1th Sunday, you can make and enjoy a brown sugar waffle according to a traditional recipe from the North!
Guided tours
Guided tours related to the theme are organized at 16h.
Farm animals
Every 1th Sunday, you can callize and pamper the animals of the sheepfold of yesteryear installed next to the museum!

Dimanche 5 avril, (re)découvrez les méthodes de conservation d'autrefois avec des démonstrations et dégustations gratuits et pour tous les âges !
Au programme :
- Dégustation de fromages et explications sur sa fabrication avec Sébastien Vermeulen, vice-président de la fédération des fromagers de France.
- Dégustation/Démonstration d’aliments lacto-fermentés
- Dégustation/Démonstration de confitures et pâtes de fruits
- Démonstration de salage, fumage et séchage de viande
Dans l'estaminet
Chaque 1er dimanche, un pianiste anime l’estaminet tout l’après-midi en jouant des airs de variété sur notre piano des années 1880. L'association la Bergerie d'Antan y vend des boissons pour se réchauffer. La vente est au profit des animaux.
Atelier gaufre
Tous les 1ers dimanches, vous pourrez confectionner et déguster une gaufre à la cassonade d'après une recette traditionnelle du Nord !
Visites guidées
Des visites guidées en rapport avec la thématique sont organisées à 16h.
Les animaux de la ferme
Chaque 1er dimanche, vous pouvez caliner et chouchouter les animaux de la bergerie d'Antan installée à côté du musée!

Zondag 5 april, (her)ontdek de conserveringsmethoden van weleer met gratis demonstraties en proeverijen voor alle leeftijden!
Op de agenda:
- Kaasproeverij en uitleg over de vervaardiging ervan bij Sébastien Vermeulen, vice-voorzitter van de Franse kaasfederatie.
- Proeven/demonstreren van lacto-gegiste levensmiddelen
- Proeverij/demonstratie van jam en vruchtenpasta's
- Demonstratie van zouten, roken en drogen van vlees
In de estaminet
Elke 1e zondag animeert een pianist de hele middag de estaminet en speelt muziek van variatie op onze piano van de jaren 1880 De vereniging La Bergerie d'Antan verkoopt drankjes om op te warmen. De verkoop is in het voordeel van de dieren.
Wafelwerkplaats
Elke 1e zondag kunt u een bruine suikerwafel maken en genieten van een traditioneel recept uit het noorden!
Rondleidingen
Rondleidingen met betrekking tot het thema worden georganiseerd om 16u..
Landbouwhuisdieren
Elke 1e zondag kun je kalmeren en verwennen met de dieren van de schaapskap van weleer die naast het museum is geïnstalleerd!
