Der Plastiker, Maler und Fotograf Bernard Garo wirft einen engagierten Blick auf die Welt, die ihn umgibt, indem er in seinen Gemälden natürliche Materialien verarbeitet.
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung tout contre la Terre (Alles gegen die Erde) bietet der Künstler eine künstlerische Residenz zu den behandelten Themen an: Klimawandel, planetarische Grenzen und die Emotionen, die im Inneren eines jeden widerhallen.
Dieser Aufenthalt wird durch den Austausch des Künstlers mit Wissenschaftlern des Muséum d'histoire naturelle, insbesondere mit Geologen, bereichert. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts kann das Publikum die Entwicklung seines Werks verfolgen, das in eine endgültige Installation mündet, die bis zum 25. Juni 2023 ausgestellt wird.
In diesem temporären Atelier innerhalb der Ausstellung Tout contre la Terre werden Videos die parallel dazu stattfindenden Performances des Künstlers auf den Gletschern dokumentieren. Kurzlebige Installationen werden den Rhythmus dieser Residenz in ständiger Bewegung bestimmen.

As a visual artist, painter and photographer, Bernard Garo takes a committed look at the world around him by integrating natural materials in his paintings.
Within the framework of the exhibition All Against the Earth (tout contre la Terre), the artist will hold an artistic residency on the following themes: climate change, planetary limits and the emotions that resonate within each person.
This residency is nourished by the artist's exchanges with scientists from the Museum of Natural History, notably geologists. Throughout the residency, the public will be able to follow the evolution of his work, which will culminate in a final installation exhibited until June 25, 2023.
In this temporary studio located within the exhibition all against the Earth, videos will document the performances carried out in parallel by the artist on top of glaciers. Ephemeral installations will punctuate this residency in perpetual motion.

Plasticien, peintre et photographe, Bernard Garo porte un regard engagé sur le monde qui l'entoure en intégrant des matériaux naturels dans ses toiles.
Dans le cadre de l'exposition tout contre la Terre, l'artiste assure une résidence artistique sur les thématiques abordées : le dérèglement climatique, les limites planétaires et les émotions qui résonnent à l'intérieur de chacun-e.
Cette résidence se nourrit des échanges de l'artiste avec des scientifiques du Muséum d'histoire naturelle, notamment des géologues. Tout au long de cette résidence, le public pourra suivre l'évolution de son œuvre qui aboutira à une installation finale exposée jusqu'au 25 juin 2023.
Dans cet atelier temporaire situé au sein de l'exposition tout contre la Terre, des vidéos documenteront les performances réalisées en parallèle par l'artiste au sommet de glaciers. Des installations éphémères rythmeront cette résidence en perpétuel mouvement.
