Loving ist die erste Ausstellung einer außergewöhnlichen Sammlung von mehreren tausend Fotografien anonymer Personen, die die männliche Liebe zum Thema haben. Seit mehreren Jahren finden und bewahren zwei amerikanische Sammler Schnappschüsse, in denen sie Zeichen der Liebe zwischen Männern erkennen. Freunde, Brüder, Geliebte - jedes Bild zeugt von einer Verbindung, von einem Gefühl, das zwei Menschen empfinden. Diese außergewöhnliche Präsentation wird von einem Vortrag des Fotografen Walter Pfeiffer und zwei historischen Filmen von Urs Lüthi begleitet.

Loving is the first exhibition drawn from an extraordinary collection of several thousand anonymous photographs depicting men in love. A huge success as a book, Loving is now on view exclusively in Geneva, through the MAH, at the Musée Rath.
For several years, two American collectors have been finding and archiving photographs in which they see signs of love between men. Each of these images attests to a connection, a feeling experienced by two people. Spanning from the 1850s to the 1950s, this collection traverses the history of photography with a universal message of love and tenderness.
This exceptional presentation is enriched by the participation of photographer Walter Pfeiffer and by two historical videos by Urs Lüthi.

Loving est la première exposition d'une extraordinaire collection riche de plusieurs milliers de photographies d’anonymes ayant pour thème l'amour au masculin. Immense succès de librairie, Loving est aujourd'hui présentée en exclusivité à Genève par le MAH au Musée Rath.
Depuis plusieurs années, deux collectionneurs américains trouvent et conservent des clichés dans lesquels ils reconnaissent des signes d’amour entre hommes. Amis, frères, amants, chaque image est le témoignage d’un lien, d’un sentiment qu’éprouvent deux personnes. Courant de 1850 à 1950, cette collection traverse l’histoire de la photographie avec un message d'amour et de tendresse.
Cette présentation exceptionnelle bénéficie d’une intervention du photographe Walter Pfeiffer et de la projection de deux films historiques d’Urs Lüthi.
