Stéphane Redon "The SAMSON molecular design platform."
Résumé: Molecular design is challenging because it requires integrating tools and expertise from diverse fields, including biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science. Researchers must navigate multiple specialized software, often with incompatible formats, making workflows inefficient and slowing down research and innovation.
This talk will provide a live demonstration of SAMSON, the integrative molecular design platform, its ecosystem of extensions, and SAMSON Connect, where users can download SAMSON and extensions, and leverage cloud computing resources. We will explore how SAMSON can help perform numerous modeling tasks, including visualization, animation, construction, protein structure prediction, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation, and the creation of Python apps
