From gastronomy to geek attitude, through the lion dance, the tea ceremony, cosplay contests, or even samurai or sumi-e demonstrations will put stars in your eyes. Origami workshops, but also sales of manga, video games, cold porcelain objects, Japanese crafts,... will awaken your fairy fingers. To delight your taste buds and brighten your appetites, the meal, Japanese of course, can be taken on site.
And to top it all, a K-pop evening is offered on Saturday, May 14 in the evening, from 8pm (entrance fee: 3 €).
On Friday, May 13 at 8 pm at the Cultural Centre: all the formations of the Haubourdin musical union will rock you with Japanese music. The choir classes of the music school will also be part of the journey.
The weekend promises to be festive, exotic and full of surprises, for this 1st edition of the Japan Geek Expo!
