Thibault RENOIR " Gene–environment interactions and preclinical models of Huntington’s disease and psychiatric disorders"
Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Melbourne University (Australia)
Mardi 24 juin, 12h30

Dr Renoir’s seminar will discuss the mechanisms by which gene-environment interactions influence mental health. His current research aims to understand how environmental and lifestyle factors such as stress and physical activity can impact behaviours relevant to neurodegenerative (e.g. Huntington’s disease) and psychiatric disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety, etc.). Along with exploring the mechanisms driving the beneficial effects of physical exercise, Dr Renoir will discuss potential new targets for future therapies.
