**Hedgerows, often absent from our landscapes, play an essential role in maintaining the biodiversity of which man is a part. Enjoy a walk on the cottage to understand their interest.**France lost more than 70% of the hedges present at the beginning of the 20th century. Yet, in addition to being a real reservoir of biodiversity for endangered fauna and flora, these heritage shrubs provide an essential service to our agricultural practices, help prevent us from soil erosion, floods and mitigate the adverse effects of the various pollution emanating from our modern activities.
Viorne obier, Dog Rose, Hawthorn monogyne, Yellow Sparrow, Leper, Thecla birch are all symbolic living species that make hedges an irreplaceable place of life! Enjoy a walk on the Gîte, in the company of an animator of the Relais Nature, to discover them and better understand the interest of the protection of hedgerows in our current issues of ecological transition and protection of wildlife.

Les haies, souvent absentes de nos paysages, jouent un rôle essentiel pour le maintien de la biodiversité dont l’Homme fait partie. Profitez d’une balade sur la Gîte pour comprendre leur intérêt.
La France a perdu plus de 70% des haies présentes au début du XXème siècle. Pourtant, en plus d’être un véritable réservoir de biodiversité pour une faune et une flore menacées, ces linéaires arbustifs patrimoniaux rendent un service essentiel à nos pratiques agricoles, aident à nous prévenir de l’érosion des sols, des inondations et atténuent les effets néfastes des différentes pollutions qui émanent de nos activités modernes.
Viorne obier, Églantier des chiens, Aubépine monogyne, Bruant jaune, Lérot, Thécla du bouleau sont autant d’espèces vivantes symboliques qui font des haies un lieu de vie irremplaçable ! Profitez d’une balade sur la Gîte, en compagnie d’un animateur du Relais Nature, pour les découvrir et mieux comprendre l’intérêt de la protection des haies dans nos enjeux actuels de transition écologique et de protection de la vie sauvage.

Hedgerows, vaak afwezig in onze landschappen, spelen een essentiële rol bij het behoud van de biodiversiteit waarvan de mens deel uitmaakt. Geniet van een wandeling over het huisje om hun interesse te begrijpen. Frankrijk verloor meer dan 70% van de heggen die aan het begin van de 20e eeuw aanwezig waren. Deze erfgoedstruiken zijn niet alleen een echt reservoir van biodiversiteit voor bedreigde flora en fauna, maar vormen ook een essentiële dienst voor onze landbouwpraktijken, helpen bodemerosie en overstromingen te voorkomen en de negatieve effecten van de verschillende verontreinigingen die door onze moderne activiteiten worden veroorzaakt, te verzachten.
Viorne obier, Dog Rose, Hawthorn monogyne, Yellow Sparrow, Leper, Thecla berk zijn allemaal symbolische levende soorten die heggen een onvervangbare plaats van leven maken! Geniet van een wandeling over de Gîte, in het gezelschap van een animator van de Relais Nature, om ze te ontdekken en beter te begrijpen van het belang van de bescherming van hagen in onze huidige kwesties van ecologische overgang en bescherming van wilde dieren.
