The city center of Lille is hit hard by the destructions of the First World War. From the early 1920s, Lille merchants built new spacious and bright shops in the heart of the pedestrian streets. Let yourself be told the story of these old-fashioned shops, from the café owner to the shoemaker, through the mechanic or the cinema operator.
This tour takes place on Fridays 10 and 24 April and 22 May at 11am.

Dès le début des années 1920, les commerçants lillois bâtissent de nouveaux magasins spacieux et lumineux au cœur des rues piétonnes. Laissez-vous conter l’histoire de ces boutiques d'autrefois, du cafetier au chausseur, en passant par le garagiste ou l’exploitant de cinéma.

Het centrum van Lille werd hard getroffen door de vernietiging van de eerste Wereldoorlog. Vanaf het begin van de jaren 1920 bouwden Lille kooplieden nieuwe ruime en lichte winkels in het hart van voetgangersstraten. Laat u de geschiedenis van deze winkels van vroeger vertellen, van het koffiezetapparaat tot de schoenmaker, de garage of de bioscoopexploitant.
Deze rondleiding vindt plaats op vrijdag 10 en 24 april en op 22 mei om 11.00 uur.
