Author, director and performer, Nicolas Petisoff brings his own life to the theatre. Born under X then adopted, he took this «cinder block» of the title in full face when his biological family found his trace. Who am I? What are my values based on and what man do I want to be? Performance on personal construction and the notion of identity, Parpaing disrupts wherever it goes, by its grace and softness. From the child of the popular class who apprehends each day, to the adult who seeks how to present himself to the world, this show traces above all a journey of resilience.

Auteur, metteur en scène et interprète, Nicolas Petisoff porte ici au théâtre sa propre vie. Né sous X puis adopté, il s’est pris ce « parpaing » du titre en pleine figure quand sa famille biologique a retrouvé sa trace. Qui suis-je ? Sur quoi reposent mes valeurs et quel homme ai-je envie de devenir ?
Performance sur la construction personnelle et la notion d’identité, Parpaing bouleverse partout où il passe, par sa grâce et sa douceur. Auteur, regisseur en performer, Nicolas Petisoff brengt zijn eigen leven in het theater. Geboren onder X toen geadopteerd, nam hij dit «cinder blok» van de titel in het volle gezicht toen zijn biologische familie zijn spoor vond. Wie ben ik? Op welke waarden zijn mijn waarden gebaseerd en welke man wil ik zijn? Prestaties op het gebied van persoonlijke constructie en het idee van identiteit, Parpaing verstoort waar het ook gaat, door zijn gratie en zachtheid.
