Felice Varini has been enchanting the public since the late 1970s with his monumental installations that dialogue with the surrounding architecture.
On the occasion of Fiesta, the 7th edition of lille3000, the artist has taken over the ground floor of the museum and offers you to discover 3 works of the most astonishing.
Each of his works comes to life from a precise point of view, where geometric shapes seem to magically come together in a perfect composition. But the experience does not stop there: by moving around, you will discover a multitude of perspectives and interpretations, like so many facets of a transformed space.
Among the most famous achievements of Felice Varini, we can mention the Grand Palais in Paris (2013), Hasselt in Belgium (2014), the Cité Radieuse in Marseille (2016) and the Cité de Carcassonne (2018) and its participation in international events such as the Niigata Water and Land Art Festival in Japan (2009) and the Singapore Biennial (2008).

Felice Varini enchante le public depuis la fin des années 1970 avec ses installations monumentales qui dialoguent avec l’architecture environnante.
À l’occasion de Fiesta, 7e édition de lille3000, l’artiste s’est emparé du rez-de-chaussée du musée et vous propose de découvrir 3 œuvres des plus étonnantes.
Chacune de ses œuvres prend vie depuis un point de vue précis, où les formes géométriques semblent s’assembler magiquement en une composition parfaite. Mais l’expérience ne s’arrête pas là : en vous déplaçant, vous découvrirez une multitude de perspectives et d’interprétations, comme autant de facettes d’un espace transformé.

Ter gelegenheid van Fiesta, de 7de editie van Lille3000, heeft de kunstenaar de begane grond van het museum overgenomen en biedt u de mogelijkheid om 3 werken van de meest verbazingwekkende te ontdekken.
Elk van zijn werken komt tot leven vanuit een nauwkeurig gezichtspunt, waar geometrische vormen op magische wijze lijken samen te komen in een perfecte compositie. Maar de ervaring houdt daar niet op: Door rond te bewegen, ontdekt u een veelheid aan perspectieven en interpretaties, zoals zoveel facetten van een getransformeerde ruimte.
