It’s the story of a party that ends and another that begins. A farewell party and a welcome party— It is the story of a community that separates and leaves a warm world to try to reform into another, more hostile. End of euphoric evenings in lugubrious hazing, carnavalesque transformations in tribal dances, exalted tenderness in violence deaf, dusk in night fires, bodies and souls are carried away in an allegorical swirl of strong images, between theater (visual and textual), dance and painting. Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, «Body & Soul» is an act of raw poetry to say «I cannot live without looking at you and, if you fall, I will be there to catch you», a visceral celebration with tight bodies, a toast to anchored looks, a combative hymn to the human community.
The show takes place in an original device: 2 different shows are played simultaneously, in two different places, one inside, the other outside. The characters leave one place to discover another, and depending on which side of the mirror you find yourself, you will not experience the same experience…
