This is happening in the garden!
These data, collected during this participatory science operation, allow scientists to learn more about the birds that visit the gardens during the breeding period. 👉 How to participate👈 ☑️ Choose a day of observation: Saturday 25 or Sunday 26 May, and a 1-hour slot trying to avoid the hot hours of the day; ☑️ Find a place of observation: a garden or a balcony, in the city or in the countryside. A public park can also serve as a place of observation; ☑️ Count and note for 1 hour all the birds that visit the garden. In order not to count twice the same bird, keep in the end only the maximum number of birds of the same species observed at the same time; ☑️ Transmit the data on the site of the Observatory of the birds of the gardens: www.oiseauxdesjardins.fr 👉To help you👈 You can find our species identification sheets ➡️ https://www.lpo.fr/identifieruneespece Do not hesitate to consult our confusion sheets, to avoid identification errors between nearby species ➡️ https://you.lpo.fr/njsgj 📨 If you still have trouble identifying a bird, send a photo to: oiseauxdesjardins@lpo.fr The Observatory team will help you.
