The PERPETUO exhibition highlights the reuse, preservation of know-how and creativity in the service of a more responsible textile future. It proposes a dialogue between textile pieces from the Coptic period – witnesses of technical mastery and millenary ingenuity – and contemporary creations that draw on this heritage in the face of today’s ecological and economic emergencies.

L’exposition PERPETUOmet en avant le réemploi, la préservation des savoir-faire et la créativité au service d’un futur textile plus responsable. Elle propose un dialogue entre des pièces textiles de la période copte – témoins d’une maîtrise technique et d’une ingéniosité millénaire – et des créations contemporaines qui se nourrissent de cet héritage face aux urgences écologiques et économiques d’aujourd’hui.

De tentoonstelling PERPETUOzet hergebruik, het behoud van knowhow en creativiteit in dienst van een meer verantwoordelijke textieltoekomst. Er wordt een dialoog voorgesteld tussen textielstukken uit de Koptische periode – getuigen van technische meesterschap en duizendjarige vindingrijkheid – en hedendaagse creaties die dit erfgoed voeden in het licht van de huidige ecologische en economische noodsituaties.
