The Festival'Danse of the association Eul'Cageot Folk returns to the room on November 29, 2025 at the Espace Concorde, Villeneuve d'Ascq. We have the great pleasure to welcome La Réveilleuse, duo singing/guitar with Camille Lachenal and Simon McDonnell, as well as Tralala Lovers, duo composed of Vincent Gaffet and Diego Meymarian, singers and multi-instrumentalists.
💃The ball is preceded in the afternoon by a Congo de Captieux workshop led by Camille Lachenal from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Espace Concorde.

The Tralala Lovers infuse a detonating energy into the great gallery of trad music to dance. Vincent Gaffet and Diego Meymarian, singers and multi-instrumentalists, propose a euphoric ball that unrestrained mixes original creations and an inventive reinterpretation of the popular repertoire.
The two musicians, also members of the TRAM group from the Balkans, happily switch from accordion to tambourine, from violin to banjo to deliver small engraved epics, jumping and fictional that are neither part of the past nor in a particular mode of a return to trad. A pop and acoustic universe, mischievous lyrics on tunes that we quickly pick up again.
From Scottish to polka, from waltz to Noirmoutier, the Tralala ball is a folk journey that takes you to the 4 corners of Europe.
The duo shares their appetite for vocal harmonies, sound finds, rhythmic and dancing poetry of the French language. A register of singing words enriched with more exotic sounds: Italian, Creole or Rom.
Confirmed dancers or pathetic beginners, useless to resist the call of the dancefloor, their contagious joy is like the sirens' song.
A dance that is danced as much as it listens to and watches!

Les Tralala Lovers insufflent une énergie détonante dans la grande galerie des musiques trad à danser. Vincent Gaffet et Diego Meymarian, chanteurs et multi-instrumentistes, proposent un bal euphorisant qui mêle sans retenue des créations originales et une réinterprétation inventive du répertoire populaire.
Les deux musiciens, par ailleurs membres du groupe TRAM des Balkans, passent joyeusement de l’accordéon au tambourin, du violon au banjo pour livrer de petites épopées ciselées, sautillantes et romanesques qui ne s’inscrivent ni dans le passé, ni dans une mode particulière d’un retour au trad. Un univers pop et acoustique, des paroles malicieuses sur des airs que l’on reprend bien vite.
De scottish en polka, de valse en branle de Noirmoutier, le bal Tralala est un voyage folk qui mène aux 4 coins de l’Europe.
Le duo partage son appétit pour les harmonies vocales, les trouvailles sonores, la poésie rythmée et dansante de la langue française. Un registre de mots chantants enrichi de sonorités plus exotiques : l’italien, le créole ou le rom.
Danseurs confirmés ou débutants pathétiques, inutile de résister à l’appel du dancefloor, leur contagieuse allégresse est comme le chant des sirènes.

Het Festival'Danse van de vereniging Eul'Cageot Folk keert op 29 november 2025 terug naar de zaal in het Espace Concorde, Villeneuve d'Ascq. La Réveilleuse is een energiek en lichtgevend duo van zingen/gitaar, een bal of een concert gevuld met verhalen over levens, vrouwen en oude bomen. Camille Lachenal met een pen en Simon McDonnell met folk arrangementen nodigen u uit om een repertoire van originele liedjes geïnspireerd op traditionele dansmuziek te ontdekken.

De Tralala liefhebbers brengen een detonerende energie in de grote galerij van trad muziek om te dansen. Vincent Gaffet en Diego Meymarian, zangers en multi-instrumentalisten, stellen een euforische bal voor die originele creaties en een inventieve herinterpretatie van het populaire repertoire zonder beperkingen combineert.
De twee muzikanten, ook leden van de TRAMGROEP uit de Balkan, schakelen graag over van accordeon naar tamboerijn, van viool naar banjo om kleine gegraveerde epische, springende en fictieve dingen te leveren die geen deel uitmaken van het verleden of in een bepaalde vorm van terugkeer naar trad. Een pop en akoestisch universum, ondeugende teksten over nummers die we snel weer oppikken.
Van Schots tot polka, van wals tot Noirmoutier, de Tralala bal is een volksreis die je naar de 4 hoeken van Europa brengt.
Het duo deelt hun honger naar vocale harmonieën, klankvondsten, ritmische en dansende poëzie van de Franse taal. Een register van zingende woorden verrijkt met meer exotische geluiden: Italiaans, Creole of rom.
