The extinction of the dinosaurs: what happened to the T-rex?

At the end of the Cretaceous, T-rex and triceratops populated the Earth along with many other dinosaurs. Meteorite impact? Volcanic eruption? The reason for their disappearance gave rise to a long and heated debate within the scientific community, which continues to this day... Through this story, we immerse ourselves in the world of dinosaurs and become aware of what paleontology offers us: a unique link with the history of life and with the history of our Earth.

À la fin du Crétacé, T-rex et tricératops peuplaient la Terre en compagnie de nombreux autres dinosaures. Impact de météorite? Eruptions volcaniques? Le pourquoi de leur disparition occasionnera un long débat agité au sein de la communauté scientifique qui perdure encore aujourd’hui.. A travers ce récit, nous ferons immersion dans le monde des dinosaures et prendrons conscience de ce que nous offre la paléontologie: un lien unique avec l’histoire de la vie, et avec l’histoire de notre Terre.
