With CUBE! the Zanco company takes you on a surrealist, tragi-comic urban odyssey in the footsteps of a deliveryman on a bicycle. In this danced, cycled and puppeteered adventure, deliverymen, customers and food twirl in a fantastic ballet where objects, even delivery bags, come to life.
Somewhere between the ordinary and the nightmarish, CUBE! questions our relationship with consumerism in an outsourced economy, where human beings seem to be no more than cogs in the wheel of the algorithm responsible for fulfilling our desires. Am I what I eat? What are these worries that devour us? What does the figure of the deliveryman say about our relationship with food and with people?
Technology companies swallow data and regurgitate profits. The machine has to be continuously fed.
Since 2005, Zanco has been creating an original theatrical universe in the public space, transforming urban geography into the territory of fiction.

Avec CUBE!, la compagnie Zanco vous emmène sur les pas d'un livreur à vélo dans une odyssée urbaine tragi-comique surréaliste.Dans cette aventure dansée, cyclée et marionnettique, livreurs, clients et nourriture virevoltent en un ballet fantastique où les objets, même les sacs de livraison, prennent vie.
Entre quotidien banal et cauchemar, CUBE! interroge notre rapport à la consommation dans une économie ubérisée où l'humain semble n'être qu'un simple rouage au service de l'algorithme chargé d'exaucer nos désirs. Est-ce que je suis ce que je mange ? Quels sont ces soucis qui nous dévorent ? Qu'est-ce que la figure du livreur dit de notre rapport à la nourriture et aux humains ?
Les entreprises technologiques avalent les données et régurgitent les profits. Il faut sans cesse nourrir la machine.
Zanco crée depuis 2005 un univers théâtral original dans l'espace public, et transforme la géographie urbaine en territoire de fiction.
