HUG MODELING ON MINECRAFT
Model the interior of HUG in the Minecraft video game!
The Convergences Foundation offers you modeling workshops for the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) in the flagship video game Minecraft.
During these workshops, participants will be able to make their contribution by modeling spaces with the bricks from the game.
The goal: to have fun developing skills in architecture, 3D design and computing through the use of a video game.
We will also take the opportunity to discuss healthy and responsible gaming practices.
In collaboration with Lesa.teliers and the University Hospitals of Geneva, this initiative aims to model these symbolic places of the HUG on the Minecraft video game platform.
COLLABORATION
During the summer of 2024, the association moved into the premises of the Maison de l'enfance et de l'adolescence and began the creation of the HUG modeling with young people in professional reintegration, interested in video games , IT, design and health. Through this initiative, participants had the opportunity to develop skills in architectural design, 3D conceptualization, programming, as well as socio-professional skills such as communication and teamwork.
At the end of the internship, everyone will receive a digital skills certificate, valuable added value for their CV. This initiative is part of the association’s mission to promote inclusion and social innovation.
The public workshops are open to everyone and will allow us to finalize this modeling of the HUG!

MODELISATION DES HUG SUR MINECRAFT
Modélisez l’intérieur des HUG dans le jeu vidéo Minecraft !
La Fondation Convergences vous propose des ateliers de modélisation des Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève (HUG) dans le jeu vidéo phare Minecraft.
Lors de ces ateliers, les participants et participantes pourront apporter leur pierre à l’édifice en modélisant des espaces avec les briques du jeu.
Le but : s’amuser en développant des compétences en architecture, en design 3D et en informatique grâce à l’utilisation d’un jeu vidéo.
Nous en profiterons aussi pour échanger sur les pratiques saines et responsables du gaming.
En collaboration avec Lesa.teliers et les Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, cette initiative vise à modéliser ces lieux symboliques des HUG sur la plateforme de jeu vidéo Minecraft.
LA COLLABORATION
Durant l’été 2024, l’association s’est installée des les locaux de la Maison de l’enfance et de l’adolescence et a commencé la création de la modélisation des HUG avec des jeunes en réinsertion professionnelle, intéressés par le jeu vidéo, l’informatique, le design et la santé. À travers cette initiative, les participants et participantes ont eu l’opportunité de développer des compétences en design architectural, en conceptualisation 3D, en programmation, ainsi que des compétences socioprofessionnelles telles que la communication et le travail d’équipe.
À la fin du stage, tout le monde recevra une attestation de compétences numériques, une valeur ajoutée précieuse pour leur CV. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans la mission de l’association de promouvoir l’inclusion et l’innovation sociale.
Les ateliers publiques sont ouverts à toutes et tous et permetterons de finaliser cette modelisation des HUG !
