THE PÂQUIS OF THE FUTURE
Collective writing workshop with Daniel Vuataz
Give group writing a go! Collaborate on every stage of the writing process, from the initial ideas through to the final edit and proofreading. Explore narrative techniques drawn from the world of screenwriting and apply them to literary writing during this one-day workshop. Participants will be challenged to imagine, script and finalise collectively written micro-stories based on the drawings, engravings and digital images produced during the other workshops in the ‘Les Pâquis du futur’ series and its image competition, which concluded in June 2026.
Duration: approx. 6 h 30 mins (with a break from 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm)
Daniel Vuataz has co-written several novels published by Zoé: *Stand-by*, *Terre-des-Fins* and *Le Jour des silures* with Aude Seigne, Bruno Pellegrino, Anne-Sophie Subilia and Matthieu Ruf. He is also the author of *Vivre près des tilleuls* (with the AJAR collective). He teaches collaborative writing at the Biel Literary Institute.

Atelier d'écriture collective avec Daniel Vuataz
Essayez-vous à l’écriture en groupe ! Collectivisez toutes les étapes d’écriture, des prémisses au montage final et aux relectures. Abordez des techniques narratives issues du monde du scénario et appliquez-les à l’écriture littéraire lors de cet atelier d’une journée. Les personnes participantes auront pour défi d’imaginer, scénariser et finaliser des microfictions écrites collectivement à partir des dessins, gravures et images numériques produits lors des autres ateliers du cycle « Les Pâquis du futur » et de son concours d'images achevé en juin 2026.
Durée env. 6h30 (avec une pause de 12h30 à 14h)
Daniel Vuataz a coécrit plusieurs romans publiés aux éditions Zoé : Stand-by, Terre-des-Fins et Le Jour des silures avec Aude Seigne, Bruno Pellegrino, Anne-Sophie Subilia et Matthieu Ruf. Il est également l’auteur de Vivre près des tilleuls (avec le collectif AJAR). Il enseigne l’écriture collective à l’Institut littéraire de Bienne.
