As part of its strategic reorientation, MEG has initiated a decolonial process within its collections, its research, its programming, but above all in dialogue with its public.
A series of lectures is proposed to provide an understanding of this issue.
Carine Ayélé Durand, social anthropologist, will be in dialogue with Bouda Etemad, historian, author of "Empires illusoires: les paris perdus de la colonisation".
An opportunity to understand how, when and why "decolonise history".
Speakers: Carine Ayélé Durand, Head Curator, Head of the Collections Unit at MEG; Bouda Etemad, Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Geneva
Places are limited and reservations must be made from Monday to Friday by e-mail to publics.meg@ville-ge.ch, stating your name, first name, telephone number and the number of people accompanying you.
