During this visit, Sarah Lombardi, director of the Collection de l'Art Brut in Lausanne, approaches the exhibition route from the angle of the concept of "art brut", which refers to works created by self-taught men and women on the fringes of the official field of art. This is an opportunity to look back at the history of this concept, invented by Dubuffet during his trip to Switzerland in 1945.
