Are mad people sick people who need to be cared for or do they also express something else that we should try to understand? Depending on the answers given, treatments for madness have varied greatly, from the extermination of the "degenerated" under Nazi Germany to the valorization of the "extraordinary" during the current Mad Pride. Our guest will retrace the history of these metamorphoses and will show how the figure of the madman questions the meaning of living together in our contemporary societies.
