As part of the ERC-UPSaclay support, a training session for candidates wishing to apply for the ERC Consolidator Grants 2020 (or 2021) call will be organised on 12 and 13 November 2019. This training session will be composed of two phases:

• A plenary session (9:00 - 17:00): November 12. This will take place in the premises of the Laboratory of Solid State Physics (LPS - access map). Our consultant, Mette Skraastad (Yellow Research consulting firm), will analyse the call this year and give you advice on how to write a proposal. A round table will also be held, in which experts, winners and European chargés d'affaires will participate. This moment of exchange will be an opportunity for you to benefit from the advice of different actors, and to ask all your questions.

Please note: if you would like to submit a project this year but are absolutely not available to attend the session on the 12th, please contact us so that we can find an appropriate organization together.

• A practical session: November 13. It will take place in the premises of the Université Paris-Saclay (Espace Technologique, Immeuble Discovery, route de l'Orme aux Merisiers, 91190 Saint-Aubin. Access map). You can benefit from an individual interview with one of our experts, Mette Skraastad or Yves Caristan. These interviews will be an opportunity for you to benefit from a special consulting session with them on your project idea. You will be asked to send us, 48 hours before the interview, a document of about two pages, explaining your profile, the context of your project, your idea, objectives etc., in order to prepare your appointment. We will also ask you to send us a short CV (also two pages). An annotated template will be sent to you so that you can start writing your proposal for submission (it is not necessary to arrive with a complete template on the day of the interview).

Please note: if you are not available for these face-to-face interviews, you can benefit from a Skype session at a later date. If you are concerned by this case, please indicate it in the registration form, available below.

Registration is free of charge but mandatory within the limits of available places.
