Didier Tronchet was born in Béthune in 1958. A graduate of the Lille Higher School of Journalism, he began his career in the daily newspaper Le Matin de Paris. Then he goes into comics with humorous characters like Raymond Calbuth or Jean-Claude Tergal. A polymorphic artist, his field of action expanded to include the café-theatre, the cinema and the magazine press. He also had a literary career with books on cycling, football and paternity. He collaborates regularly with Anne Sibran. Together they realize My life in the air, There or The world below_. He leaves for a few years, with his family to other continents. These long stays will be the opportunity to deliver comics of reports, _Bolivia the salt lake, Vertiges de Quito, The lab of the future for La revue XXI or Robinsons, father and son in album. His latest work Le chanteur perdu is a deeply human story that brings together his desires to speak from elsewhere.
