Discovering wines from the Carpathian Mountains to celebrate the links between France and Romania, two countries with diverse cultures and shared Latin roots.

Although Romania is a newcomer to the quality wine market, it is nevertheless continuing a millennia-old tradition, as wine has been produced in the country since ancient times.

Standing at the same latitude as the vineyards of Bordeaux and Tuscany, the Romanian region of Dealu Mare (at the centre of the country) produces the best-known high quality wines, symbols of a new world rising in Europe.

This encounter, preceded by a documentary, offers an opportunity to discover the other side of Romanian winemaking.
