FestiFiap2025 Edition No. 4: Mi-SALA (to accomplish)
The MALOBA Company, in partnership with the City of Bordeaux, returns with the fourth edition to request the renewal of its partnership with your organization for the Festifiap2025 initiative: MI-SALA (to accomplish).
Thus, for the second consecutive year, the Mayor of the Caudéran District welcomes the International African Performance Festival, which will repeat its feat of contemporary African and Afro performance in all its forms on the Place de l'Église Saint Amand. This includes performances in the streets, schools, youth centers, nursing homes, recreation centers, parks, and various squares in this district.
Preamble: We exist to meet a need: to showcase humanity, its expertise, and its interpersonal skills through African and Afro cultures. Passion, Patience, Perseverance, Punctuality: our 4Ps. Life is beautiful! Contemporary African and Afro-American artistic and sociocultural performances are our DNA, at the heart of our present-day experience. Smile! FestiFiap 2025 (African International Performance Festival), following the successes of the following editions:
No. 0 in September 2021: “LE NOUVEAU MONDE”
No. 1 September 2022: “UBUNTU” (ensemble)
No. 2 very difficult, September 2023: “MALOBA ya 2023” (expressions of 2023)
No. 3 September 2024: R-EVOLUTIONS
Thus, the achievement of the previous edition leads us to a FestiFap No. 4 edition: September 19, 20, 21, 2025, between the Salle La Chartreuse Saint-André and the Place de l’Église Saint Amand in Bordeaux Caudéran, with the theme MI-SALA, “to achieve” in Lingala. MI-SALA, “to accomplish” is often used in the context of achieving personal and/or professional goals, dreams or desires.
In a personal context, "self-fulfillment" means achieving a state of satisfaction and self-realization by accomplishing goals, realizing dreams, or living according to one's values and passions.
On the program: multidisciplinary contemporary African artistic performances, strolls, eco-friendly costumes, life-size artistic works, and something new this year: the FestiFiap Village, decorated with the colors of African markets, a place where you'll find music, dance, percussion, storytelling, slam poetry, meals, artisans, and exhibitors... what a great atmosphere!
The MALOBA Company, with its words in Lingala and its gods in Douala, has set itself the mission of promoting contemporary African art in the Gironde department, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, and beyond. FestiFiap is designed as a time for celebration and reflection in the face of the artistic, economic, health, ecological, social, and cultural challenges that accumulate on a daily basis. Throughout the year, FestiFiap also features encounters centered around temporary performances, workshops, and artistic and sociocultural exchanges with audiences who frequent various venues in our regions. It showcases several artistic disciplines, highlighting artists from the African continent, the West Indies, and the Caribbean, to highlight unique contemporary knowledge and performances in the public arena.
The highlights of FestiFiap take place over three days and contribute to:
Rainbow artistic and sociocultural encounters.
Exchanges and reflections among scientific, political, artistic, and sociocultural stakeholders.
Exchanges among political, sociocultural, and cultural stakeholders.
Strengthening ties between the FestiFiap festival, institutions, and various partners.
Integrating FestiFiap in a mission to promote contemporary African art.

FestiFiap, in its fourth edition, MI-SALA (achieving) 2025, intends once again to share this essential expressiveness of African and Afro performance, as well as its cultures.
While it is rumored that FestiFiap is considering a unique location for its upcoming editions, it will once again take place for the second consecutive year in Caudéran, on the Place de l’Église Saint Amand.
FestiFiap's credo: Our cultural support compels us to believe that: "Every artistic act is, in essence, an act that gradually reveals to each person their potential and abilities, that contributes to the construction of their identity, helps them find a place in their social and cultural environment... It contributes to the discovery of the infinite complexity of the human condition. This attitude toward others and the world should, in principle, lead to greater humanity."
