She offers the town one billion in exchange for the death of one of their own… Stunned silence gives way to doubts and dilemmas: monstrous revenge or the restoration of justice? What will the small community of Güllen choose? What would we choose? By bringing Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s monumental play to the stage, the De Facto Theater Company offers a contemporary interpretation in the wake of the #MeToo movement. An incisive reflection on the abuse of power and the limits of morality, performed by a collective of six actors who take on the challenge of reenacting this social experiment.

Que choisira la petite communauté de Güllen ? Que choisirions -nous? En portant sur la scène cet immense texte de Friedrich Dürrenmatt, la Cie De Facto, en fait une lecture actualisée post mouvement #MeToo. Une réflexion incisive sur les abus de pouvoir et sur les limites de la moralité porté par un collectif de six comédien·nes qui se prêtent au jeu de la reconstitution de cette expérience sociale.
