A little boy puts on new shoes and goes to the river for a snack. Along the way, he discovers the world around him: streets, houses, landscapes, people and animals. His shoes accumulate experiences and adventures and he, little by little, grows. The size of shoes accompanies us throughout life. Size measures the foot, but also age, experiences, the way we walk through life. The days, the years and the boxes of shoes go by.
Small, medium, large... In this show, we start from a real fact (a tradition from Vinaròs, a Mediterranean village) to arrive at the universal (an initiatory journey, of learning, of discoveries and of connection with nature). A show as much dedicated to children as to adults, to convert this little shared moment into a new experience.
The Tian Gombau theater company was born in Castelló de la Plana (Spain) in 1992. Its flexibility and ability to adapt have allowed it to produce more than 4,000 performances, in 47 countries on 4 continents, in 10 languages. The company has received 28 awards at prestigious national and international festivals. Tian Gombau transforms the aesthetic worlds of contemporary visual artists into magical shows for the little ones in the family. Its language, poetic and didactic at the same time, transmits emotions while conveying messages of tolerance and humanity.

Par respect pour les enfants, les artistes et les autres spectateurs, nous nous gardons le droit de refuser l'entrée aux enfants n'ayant pas 3 ans révolus et aux retardataires, sans remboursement ni échange.
Un petit garçon enfile de nouvelles chaussures et part goûter à la rivière. En chemin, il découvre le monde qui l’entoure : rues, maisons, paysages, personnes et animaux. Ses chaussures accumulent expériences et aventures et lui, petit à petit, grandit.
La taille des chaussures nous accompagne tout au long de la vie. La taille mesure le pied, mais aussi l’âge, les expériences, la manière avec laquelle on marche dans la vie. Passent les jours, les années et les boîtes de chaussures.
Petites, moyennes, grandes... Dans ce spectacle, nous partons d’un fait réel (une tradition de Vinaròs, un village méditerranéen) pour arriver à l’universel (un voyage initiatique, d’apprentissage, de découvertes et de lien avec la nature). Un spectacle autant dédié aux enfants qu’aux adultes, pour convertir ce petit moment partagé en une nouvelle expérience.
La compagnie de théâtre Tian Gombau naît à Castelló de la Plana (Espagne) en 1992.
