Creation 2024
In the heart of a beautiful and beautiful forest strange, an old healer discovers a wild young woman and frees her from a trap. The two women do not speak. One has never learned and the other is now wary of language and uses sounds, gestures and other grunts to make herself understood or deploy her powers. Clumsy and frightened, the young woman will finally find the courage and the right actions to help the old witch heal herself.
In this show, video, singing, music and movement blend into the story and invite spectators to take part in the outcome. An immersive, funny and poetic theatrical object about transmission between generations: Isabelle Caillat, actress-dancer and Myriam Boucris, actress-singer, celebrate the essential and living link between elders and the young people they guide and inspire.
After having designed, co-written and staged shows combining music and theater, performed in Paris where she lived at the time, Myriam Boucris settled in Geneva. She founded the company Tohu Wa Bohu there in 2003 and continued her work. The company now has twelve creations to its credit and its theater workshops welcome children and adolescents in the towns of Bardonnex and Plan-les-Ouates.

Création 2024
Au cœur d’une forêt belle et étrange, une vieille guérisseuse découvre une jeune femme ensauvagée et la libère d’un piège. Les deux femmes ne parlent pas. L’une n’a jamais appris et l’autre se méfie désormais du langage et se sert des sons, gestes et autres grognements pour se faire comprendre ou déployer ses pouvoirs. Maladroite et apeurée, la jeune femme trouvera finalement le courage et les bons gestes pour aider la vieille sorcière à se soigner.
Dans ce spectacle, vidéo, chant, musique et mouvement se mêlent à l’histoire et invitent les spectateurs à prendre part au dénouement. Un objet théâtral immersif, drôle et poétique sur la transmission entre les générations : Isabelle Caillat, comédienne-danseuse et Myriam Boucris, comédienne-chanteuse, y célèbrent le lien essentiel et vivace entre les aînés et les jeunes gens qu’ils guident et inspirent.
Après avoir conçu, coécrit et mis en scène des spectacles mêlant musique et théâtre, joués à Paris où elle vivait alors, Myriam Boucris s’est installée à Genève. Elle y fonde la compagnie Tohu Wa Bohu en 2003 et poursuit son travail. La compagnie a désormais douze créations à son actif et ses ateliers théâtre accueillent enfants et adolescents dans les communes de Bardonnex et de Plan-les-Ouates.
