A Swiss filmmaker of Palestinian origin travels to the West Bank to make sense of his estrangement from a childhood friend who has become a Jewish settler. While trying to understand why their friendship failed to survive the political crisis, he reveals his own tragic family history in Palestine. An emotional exploration of friendship and identity, through the brutality of the occupation, and a cry for the survival of Palestinian culture.

Un cinéaste suisse d'origine palestinienne se rend en Cisjordanie pour donner un sens à sa rupture avec un ami d'enfance devenu colon juif. Tout en essayant de comprendre pourquoi leur amitié n'a pas résisté à la situation politique, il révèle sa propre histoire familiale tragique en Palestine. Une exploration émotionnelle de l'amitié et de l'identité, à travers la brutalité de l'occupation et un cri pour la survie de la culture palestinienne.
