Storyteller Nicolas Bonneau and singer Sylvain GirO join forces to recount the Troadec case, a family murder that occurred in Nantes and made headlines in 2017. The case, which unfolds across Brittany, involves jealousy, fantasy, family history, love, paranoia, inheritance, and money. The audience, now witnesses, gradually pieces together the fragments of this tragic story, revealing its human, political, and cathartic dimensions, particularly through the perspective of the victims. To achieve this, they have chosen to explore the form of the crime lament, as it was told and sung in Brittany and France at the end of the 19th century.

Le conteur Nicolas Bonneau et le chanteur Sylvain GirO s’associent pour raconter l’affaire Troadec, un meurtre familial survenu à Nantes et qui a défrayé la chronique en 2017. Une affaire qui se déploie sur toute la Bretagne, entre jalousie, fantasme, histoire de famille, amour, paranoïa, héritage et argent. Le spectateur devenu témoin recolle peu à peu les morceaux de cette histoire tragique, laissant apparaître sa dimension humaine, politique et cathartique, en privilégiant notamment le point de vue des victimes. Pour cela, ils ont décidé d’explorer la forme de la complainte criminelle, telle qu’on la racontait et chantait en Bretagne et en France à la fin du 19e siècle.
