For over 30 years, Titi Robin has navigated the confluence of Gypsy, Eastern, and European cultures, riding the impetuous wave that flows from India to Central Asia to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. There, he has patiently sought and built an original aesthetic universe. His quest for harmony between cultures from different horizons makes him a "traveling musician." His music has been shaped in particular by his admiration for the flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla and the Iraqi oud master Munir Bachir. Titi Robin and singer-guitarist Roberto Saadna, whose family specializes in Catalan rumba, began collaborating in the 1990s. A world tour followed, paving the way for a new wave of Gypsy music that continues to this day.
Since then, they have regularly collaborated on other recording projects. Today, they share the stage again with this show, based on a new original repertoire sung in Catalan Gypsy and Spanish, with reminiscences from the albums Gitans and Un ciel de cuivre, on which Roberto Saadna was the lead singer. This warm reunion is accompanied by the band Ma Gavali.

Depuis plus de 30 ans, Titi Robin navigue aux confluences des cultures tziganes, orientales et européennes, sur la vague impétueuse qui coule de l’Inde à l’Asie centrale jusqu’aux rives de la mer Méditerranée. Il y a recherché puis construit patiemment un univers esthétique original. Sa quête d’harmonie entre des cultures de différents horizons fait de lui un « musicien voyageur ». Sa musique s’est notamment construite à travers l’admiration qu’il porte au chanteur de Flamenco Camarón de la Isla et au maître irakien du oud, Munir Bachir.
Titi Robin et le chanteur-guitariste Roberto Saadna, dont la famille est spécialiste de la rumba catalane, ont commencé à collaborer ensemble dans les années 90. Une tournée mondiale s’en est suivie, ouvrant la voie à une nouvelle vague de musiques tziganes qui perdure encore aujourd’hui.
Depuis, ils ont régulièrement travaillé sur d’autres projets discographiques. Aujourd’hui, ils partagent à nouveau la scène avec ce spectacle, basé sur un nouveau répertoire original chanté en gitan catalan et en espagnol, avec des réminiscences des albums Gitans et Un ciel de cuivre, sur lesquels Roberto Saadna était le chanteur principal. Ces chaleureuses retrouvailles sont accompagnées par la formation Ma Gavali.
