Attend a demonstration of spring sheep mowing, play with shepherd dogs or pet the sheep present in the park. Discover the use of wool, from its shearing to the manufacturing of reels, including its coloration.
Appointment: mowing demonstrations from 11 am, opening of the Museum at 10 am.

From 10am – 12pm / 1pm – 6.30pm: Meet the shepherd’s caravan, pulled by a horse, and his 19th century shepherdess during their stroll in the museum.
From 10am – 12pm / 1pm – 6pm: a day at the heart of tapestry with the craftsman «a daisy in his hair». Throughout the animation, she exposes different woven pieces as well as the tools and creation steps, she performs a live demonstration on a high-smoothness loom.
From 10am – 12pm / 1:30pm – 6:30pm: Attend a captivating demonstration of the work of shepherd dogs with their sheep. Discover the precision, obedience and complicity between the dog and its master. Then take the time to talk with the shepherds who will explain to you the role of the sheep, from the countryside to our cities. Finally, approach the animals closely, tame them and enjoy a moment of caresses and tenderness. A meeting at the same time playful, educational and full of emotions.
From 10h30 – 12h / 14h30 – 18h: carry out the different stages of working with wool between sorting, washing, carding and to finish spinning.
From 11am – 12pm / 2pm – 6pm: attend the Mowing of the Boulogne sheep at the museum.
At 11am / 3pm / 6pm: appointment with the animals
At 2pm and 4pm: weaving workshop (maximum 12 people). Find our usual activities offered by our villagers: guided tours in reconstitution, school of the past with the teacher of ancient times, and many other moments of discovery.
