FÖDOSÖKANDE BI (Alive) alerts you to the fate of honey bees today pressed, like the rest of life, by a global overproduction. This show is designed around the desire to share the world of bees and the threats they face with humor and gravity, tenderness and anger, offbeat conference and aerial prowess.
Evolving on alveolar gantry, Sébastien Bruas, acrobat and aerial carrier, embodies in turn the passionate speaker, the young bee and his first ill-assured take-off, the beekeeper at work, the worker on a foraging mission, the new queen and her suitors.
Through a gallery of characters and points of view as so many entries to question together the stakes around honey bees, this show puts at the center of the game human practices and their consequences on our winged companions. By getting to know them better, will we be able to love and protect them better?
The opportunity to question the practices of modern beekeeping, but also more generally, our relationship to life.
We fly away, we laugh (yellow sometimes!) and we inevitably come out stung!
