Sunday, March 2 from 14:30 to 17:30 the Musée du Terroir opens for free for an afternoon dedicated to tailoring and artisanal textile techniques.
On the agenda:
- Discovery of the tailoring profession with Aglaé Plaete, costume artist. Demonstration of taking measurements with a visitor and presentation of a garment being assembled.
- Demonstration of spindle lace with Valenciennes lacemakers.
- Demonstration of art embroidery
- Photo stand with accessories and "period" decor
- Fashion sketch workshop with Atelier 2
- Workshop flowers in felt and buttons
In the establishment
Every 1st Sunday, a pianist animates the café all afternoon by playing tunes of variety on our 1880’s piano.
Waffle Shop
Every 1st Sunday, you can make and enjoy a brown sugar waffle according to a traditional recipe from the North!
Guided tours
Guided tours related to the theme are organized at 4pm.
