Welcome to the Palais Rameau, an emblematic place of Lille’s heritage, reinvented today to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Inaugurated in 1879 thanks to the generosity of Charles Rameau, this historic building was first designed as a horticultural palace before becoming a space dedicated to innovation and experimentation in favor of transitions. This project is fully in line with the school’s mission: to train engineers capable of responding to economic, societal and environmental challenges. You will discover not only an architectural gem steeped in history, but also a full-scale demonstrator aimed at exploring and testing concrete solutions for more sustainable agriculture and food.

Bienvenue au Palais Rameau, un lieu emblématique du patrimoine lillois, aujourd’hui réinventé pour répondre aux défis de demain. Inauguré en 1879 grâce à la générosité de Charles Rameau, ce bâtiment historique a d’abord été conçu comme un palais horticole avant de devenir un espace dédié à l’innovation et à l’expérimentation en faveur des transitions. Ce projet s’inscrit pleinement dans la mission de l’école : former des ingénieurs capables de répondre aux enjeux économiques, sociétaux et environnementaux. Vous découvrir0ez non seulement un joyau architectural chargé d’histoire, mais aussi un démonstrateur grandeur nature visant à explorer et tester des solutions concrètes pour une agriculture et une alimentation plus durable.

Welkom in het Palais Rameau, een symbolische plaats van het erfgoed van Lille, dat vandaag opnieuw is uitgevonden om de uitdagingen van morgen aan te gaan. Dit historische gebouw, dat in 1879 werd geopend dankzij de vrijgevigheid van Charles Rameau, werd eerst ontworpen als tuinbouwpaleis voordat het een ruimte werd gewijd aan innovatie en experimenten ten gunste van overgangen. Dit project sluit volledig aan bij de missie van de school: Het opleiden van ingenieurs die in staat zijn om te reageren op economische, maatschappelijke en ecologische uitdagingen. U ontdekt niet alleen een architectonisch juweeltje doordrenkt van geschiedenis, maar ook een volledig demonstratiemodel gericht op het verkennen en testen van concrete oplossingen voor duurzamere landbouw en voedsel.
