Museum of the Doll and Ancient Toy
Installed at the Château de Robersart in Wambrechies on the banks of the Deûle since 1998, the museum stages a rich and unique collection of old toys in the north of Paris. In this exceptional setting, our activity goes beyond the simple presentation of a collection, it is also the safeguarding of our heritage. Visitors walk through a century of doll and toy history. Here, toys regain soul and life while respecting scales, materials and eras in original scenographies. The taste for staging, such is our imprint that is attached to walk the visitor from the late nineteenth to the sixties, combining the old-fashioned and delicate charm of porcelain dolls with the sixties atmosphere of the first Barbies, taking the route followed by electric trains or Citroën cars. Flemish games in free use in the museum.
