CHAMP DE MARS, returns to the initial gesture of identity reappropriation (non-patriotic and non-totalitarian) of a territory, here the Hauts-de-France,
By reinventing a legend from which the river Deûle would draw its origin. By placing fiction at the heart of a tragic mechanism of dialogue between a girl killed by her spouse and then thrown into the Vault, and her mother who mourns her disappearance, the play operates a long reversed song that goes back to the source to try to grasp how life and death coexist, collide or destroy each other.

CHAMP DE MARS, revient au geste initial de réappropriation identitaire (non-patriotique et non-totalitaire) d’un territoire, ici les Hauts-de-France,
En réinventant une légende dont la rivière Deûle tirerait son origine. En plaçant la fiction au cœur d’un mécanisme tragique de dialogue entre une fille tuée par son conjoint puis jetée dans la Deûle, et sa mère qui pleure sa disparition, la pièce opère un long chant à rebours qui retourne à la source pour tenter de saisir comment la vie et la mort cohabitent, s’entrechoquent ou se détruisent.

Door een legende opnieuw uit te vinden waaruit de rivier de Deûle zijn oorsprong zou trekken. Door fictie in het hart te plaatsen van een tragisch mechanisme van dialoog tussen een meisje dat door haar echtgenoot werd gedood en vervolgens in de kluis werd gegooid, en haar moeder die rouwt om haar verdwijning, werkt het toneelstuk een lang omgekeerd liedje dat teruggaat naar de bron om te proberen te begrijpen hoe leven en dood samenleven, botsen of elkaar vernietigen.
