Kino-Ciné offers an evening of screenings followed by a discussion around Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk, a documentary by Sepideh Farsi based on a long dialogue with Fatem Hassona, who documented the war in Gaza. The director tells how this meeting became a "lifeline" — an exchange of pixels and sounds—between Gaza and the rest of the world, for nearly a year, before the death of Fatem Hassona on April 16, 2025, following an attack on her house.
Presented notably at Cannes 2025 (ACID Selection), the film (documentary, 110 min, France/Palestine/Iran) offers a cinema experience that is both direct, intimate and political.
Debate
The screening will be followed by a film debate moderated by Émilie Picherot, professor and researcher of comparative literature (Arabic worlds) — University of Lille.

Le Kino-Ciné vous propose une soirée de projection suivie d’un échange autour de Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk, un documentaire de Sepideh Farsi construit à partir d’un dialogue au long cours avec Fatem Hassona, qui documentait la guerre à Gaza. La réalisatrice raconte comment cette rencontre est devenue une « ligne de vie » — un échange de pixels et de sons — entre Gaza et le reste du monde, pendant près d’un an, avant la mort de Fatem Hassona le 16 avril 2025, à la suite d’une attaque sur sa maison.
Présenté notamment à Cannes 2025 (Sélection ACID), le film (documentaire, 110 min, France/Palestine/Iran) propose une expérience de cinéma à la fois directe, intime et politique.
Débat
La projection sera suivie d’un ciné-débat animé par Émilie Picherot, enseignante-chercheuse, littérature comparée (mondes arabes) — Université de Lille.

De regisseur vertelt hoe deze ontmoeting een "levenslijn" werd — een uitwisseling van pixels en geluiden — Tussen Gaza en de rest van de wereld, bijna een jaar lang, voor de dood van Fatem Hassona op 16 april 2025, na een aanslag op zijn huis.
