«Yoga in the park or the 5 senses in awakening" by Patricia De Zwaef, art historian and yoga teacher. Yoga session accompanied by a mediation on the park’s sculptures. When? Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 11h to 12h30 Duration 1h30 Accessible to all, bring a carpet (+ 2 blocks and 1 belt if you have one) and an outfit adapted to the weather. We will practice on a lawn among the trees, on the edge of the Colpach. Max 20 people on registration at the reception of the Rehabilitation Center of the Castle of Colpach crcc@croix-rouge.lu or 27 55 43 00 Yoga is a thousand-year-old practice that aims at harmony between body, mind and environment. This quest for balance towards an increased consciousness finds a particular echo through the 5 senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. During this session, attention will be paid to our breathing, our movements and our sensations; these will sharpen our sensory perception. Asanas will require inner visual attention and we will try to develop, through pranayamas, a deeper listening of our physical and emotional body. At the end of our practice, we will turn to our natural environment to discover the scents and beauties of the park of Colpach, including its vegetable garden. Note that in case of bad weather, the activity can be replaced by a visit of the park through the 5 senses.
