This garden is a passage connecting the old center (the town hall, former priory) to National Street. It consists of a garden in the lower part and a park in the upper part. The upper part of the Beaussire garden houses the Orangerie, a historic exhibition centre on Mortagne and the entrance to an underground tunnel that bears witness to the medieval history of the city. Crossing this garden in spring is a real pleasure for all the senses! This landscaped space captivated the attention of the jury Villes et Villages Fleuris. It offers an impressive diversity of plants, whether perennials, shrubs or trees, making this place a true botanical gem.
