- Centre-Val de Loire
In 1955 artists Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning settled in Huismes. Designed and raised in 1960 by the artists, the 5,000 m² garden offers different tree species (Arizona cypress, yew, linden, cedar, chestnut, fruit trees). The wall that closes the garden has three monumental bas-reliefs that constitute a collage of sculptures by Max Ernst. Other works by contemporary artists are also presented in the garden (Dominique Angel, Dominque Bailly, Florent Lamouroux...).
