In 1969, Gabriel Albert, retired joiner-cabinet maker, decides to realise his dream: model statues of human size, in cement, and offer them with regard to all, in the garden which surrounds its small house of Nantillé. During 20 years, non-stop, it creates this poetic universe, showing creativeness and a taste pronounced for the direction(fabrication). All in all, he(it) realises 420 statues and busts, representing famous or anonymous people as well as animals. Today registered in conformance with(for) Historic monuments, the Garden of Gabriel does not cease surprising and provokes the curiosity of the passer-bys and of the specialists of the naive art. The guided tour will allow to discover the outstanding route(course) of Gabriel Albert, to reveal its process techniques and its sources of inspiration, to visit its house and its workshop(studio) and to present many works kept(preserved) in the garden. She will also allow to present works of restoration(catering) committed(hired) on the site since November, 2017 by the Region Piece of news-Aquitaine(Short story-Aquitaine).
