The collections of the Calvet Museum cover archaeology, as well as decorative arts, ethnography and fine arts (art objects, drawings, sculptures and paintings from the 16th to the 20th centuries). All the works of this museum, with the exception of deposits, belong to the Etablissement Public Fondation Calvet. Modern art is represented with the Victor Martin Hall inaugurated in May 2010.
The collection of paintings and sculptures presents works from the 15th to the 20th century. Alongside hundreds of paintings, sculptures are also exhibited with works by Camille Claudel, Francesco Laurana, Giambologna, James Pardier, Italian and Nordic bronzes from the 16th and 17th centuries...
The collection of drawings, which is not on display, contains artists' sheets, mostly from French and Italian schools but also from Nordic and Spanish schools.
