Jardins de Curemonte
The medieval village of CuremonteBuilt on a rocky ridge between Puy Turlau and Mont Antin, it has an exceptional heritage. It is classified "Most beautiful village in France".
On the occasion of the national event "Rendez-vous aux Jardins", eight private gardens will be opened. We invite you to stroll through the streets of the village to discover its heritage and its private gardens.
Thus, you will discover:
- a park with a wide botanical variety,
- the walls of the castles of Plas and Saint Hilaire,
- a hanging garden with vegetable plots overlooking the valley,
- the park of a noble house with a beautiful view of the heart of the village,
- a flower garden with a vegetable garden, an orchard overlooking the Sourdoire,
- a large landscaped garden with vegetable garden and views of the village,
- a park with venerable trees,
- an English garden overlooking Curemonte (photo).
Fifteen artists from the region will be present and will exhibit their works in the gardens. Some will settle down to paint or create a work.
Elementary school students to exhibit wicker objects created with their mistress and Isabelle’s support.
You will have the opportunity to eat or refresh yourself during your visit discovery. La Barbacane’s restaurant bar will be open. Fast food and drinks are available at Foyer Rural de Curemonte and Lous Amouroux del Montanty.
In case of very bad weather, the event will be cancelled. The decision will be communicated a few days in advance.
