The Jayoux Garden is an edible forest, it is the fruit of commitment, passion, and the work of the volunteers of the SocioCulturelle Association of Grand-Failly. The municipality is involved with the provision of a plot of 68 ares. This garden is a haven of peace. One of the objectives is to enhance the local natural environment and respect the current biotope to make it available to all and to make it, eventually, but quickly, a notable point of visit in Longuyonnais. Partners, specialists in the natural environment were asked. The most sensitive areas are preserved and partially accessible. A hedge that surrounds the entire land has been planted, as well as large trees, fruit trees, shrubs, a rose garden. A wooden terrace was arranged, the fence around the land was laid. The alleys have been designed, a medicinal garden is being built. Relaxing furniture benches, tables, dry toilets, garden huts made of renewable materials (wood, straw, and/ or recovery) were set up.
