Guided tour of about 1 hour with description of the project of restoration and enhancement of the Garden funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU with investments managed by the Ministry of Culture. Visitors will be welcomed in the area in front of the Historical Garden, in the property of the BAIA Estate where registration will be made. Every hour a maximum of 30 people will be welcomed for the guided tour. Due to the works that are taking place inside the garden, a narrow, delimited path will be organized.

Il Crocifisso is located in the municipality of Massignano, in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The site is extremely panoramic located on the first hilly foothills of the valley crossed by the Menocchia stream that stretches from west to east. From here you can see the system of ridges to the south and the nearby coast with the sea, the dense residues of hygrophilous woods that underline the water streams of the valley floor and the mountain backdrop of the Sibillini that delimits the local catchment area. It’s an evergreen oasis in the countryside planted with extensive crops, where the tree vegetation is concentrated only along the watercourses of the valley floor. The documentary sources trace the construction of the citrus garden to the mid-18th century. The particularity of the conformation, underlined by the dovecote turrets is undoubtedly the characteristic element that makes this citrus grove unique and strongly testifies to the citrus culture that between the sixteenth and nine

Coming from the north: exit Pedaso A14, continue south along the SS16\. Arrived on the territory of the Municipality of Cupra Marittima at the Lucidi furniture factory on the left, turn right and take Contrada Boccabianca. Continue for 500 meters and turn right on Via Conte Giovanni Vinci (first road after the motorway bridge). Continue for about 1.5 km, the destination on the left in front of a large iron gate. Coming from the south: exit Grottammare A14, continue on the SS16 until you reach the territory of the Municipality of Cupra Marittima - north area.
