The visit will concern the historical context of these gardens, which have largely preserved their sixteenth-century layout, as well as their current role within Villa Medici. They represent an invaluable living heritage, a place of experimentation and sharing. The gardens have been the subject of an innovative eco-responsible management policy for more than 10 years and are the meeting point of the fundamental missions of the French Academy in Rome.
