À propos du lieu

Parc et Château de Malmaison
Château de Malmaison, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison
  • Hauts-de-Seine
  • Île-de-France
From 1799 to 1814, Malmaison was the private residence of Napoleon and Josephine, a "countryside" located half an hour from Paris. Unlike the official residences, Malmaison remained until the death of Josephine, in 1814, an intimate house, renowned for the beauty of its gardens and the rare species of plants that were acclimatized there. The park remains today particularly evocative wanted by the Empress and was enriched with a garden of old roses in 2014, thanks to the patronage of the house Piaget.
