An exceptional example of medieval military architecture, the 100 by 50-metre fortress is built on the north bank of the River Boivre, taking advantage of a natural escarpment to reinforce its defensive system. The castle dominates the village and the Boivre valley. A magnificent cedar tree animates the garden of the fortress housing two statues of the 50’s made by Jean Poutriquet and surrounded by small boxwood in the French style. Listed as a Historic Monument, the building has been under restoration since 2012\. Its gardens and the diversity of the species of its park will attract the attention of the visitor.
